Jonathan E. Wright is a native of Gastonia, North Carolina.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in History from Mount Olive College in 1995.  Jonathan received his law degree from Regent University School og Law in Virginia beach, Virgina in 2003.

Prior to joining Smith, Dickey, Dempster, Carpenter & Harris, P.A., Jonathan worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office.  Jonathan prosecuted traffic and criminal matters in the District and Superior Courts. 

Jonathan's practice focuses primarily in representing individuals charged with DWI and all other traffic issues, including DMV hearings.  Jonathan also represents individuals charged with misdemeanor and felony criminal matters.
